don’t forget to thank God, too. he might not buy that video game for you, but he made a world designed for us to enjoy. so be sure to thank God for your things. oh, and if you got a movie or video game he wouldn’t want you to watch/play … think twice about it 
i’m in a good mood, and it’s a Monday. go figure!

I know I haven’t posted on here in a while, but I just wanted to get on to say hello and let you all know that I love you so much. I am so thankful to know each and every one of you. “Camp” has been a part of my life for so long now, and its amazing to not have to wait for 11 3/4 months to be able to see everyone like I had to when I was growing up (and waiting for camp!). There is not a day that goes by that I am not utterly amazed at how richly God has blessed my life. I never would have guessed that I would be doing the things I am doing, or friends with as many people as I am, 3 years ago. You guys mean the world to me, and I am so happy to know you. Please keep striving for the goal of heaven, and don’t let anything deter you from that. Because, as amazing as it may be
to spend a week at camp surrounded by Christians
or to gather together on Tuesday nights (even if Tim and I are competing over who is the loudest teacher!),
or to listen to Joe teach Mark, or Tim teach Revelation, or Eddie teach Ezra & Ezekiel, or Roger teach 2 Thessalonians
or to go on road trips to Gettysburg, Pittsburg, and Indiana
or to have a bonfire surrounded by 100 people that you know and love…
Heaven will be SO much better and so much greater. Because not only will we be surrounded by all the other saints who have lived their life in a way that glorifies God… but we will be with God Himself. Eternally.
Lets keep working to get there, and encouraging each other along the way.

Update on Mr. Berthold, who helps our camp so much

Subject: Dudley Berthold Update (12/1
We are very thankful today! Dudley has been moved to rehab region of Baptist East, room 4407. Each day he will have three to four hours of physical therapy. To everyone’s excitement, he was able to move his left arm up to his head (as of Saturday night he was only able to move it several inches back and forth). He has also begun making small leg movements. We are so pleased!
Our family has been so encouraged by your outpouring of love and support. Your thoughts, visits, calls, and most importantly your prayers have uplifted and strengthened us in this most difficult time. We know the road ahead will be long and tedious, but we are assured the Lord will give us the fortitude to endure.

It is one of our responsibilities as a Christian to be thankful everyday for all the many blessing that our Lord has given us! In our minds it should be Thanksgiving DayS…

I thank the Lord for people like Gardner who does so much to help us all be morspiritually minded.
I thank the Lord for people like Emily who drives around to so amyn different places encouraging so many people!

Camp supporter in hospital
As many of you know, our little camp depends on financial help from others, especially to “adopt” campers that can’t pay the rather hefty camp fee. A Christian who has helped promote our camp tirelessly and has obtained thousands of dollars every year to make our camp solvent, has just had a stroke. His name is Dudley Berthold. I’ve found a way you can send ecards to the hospital where he is in the Louisville, KY area. I think he would appreciate cards from campers. Just go to the link, state in the message that you are associated with NJ Camp and let him know you’re praying for him.
