So last weekend I got to hang out with Genesis, Melissa and Luz. We went to a picnic, made apple pie, and practiced driving my car. Well, by driving it I mean smashing it into bushes and narrowly missing telephone poles! (Geni.. oh wait, without mentioning any names =)

I’ve been hanging with hanging with Tim on Mondays, and that has been cool. He is a good friend to have around and I’m glad he is here! We go for walks, visit his folks, go to studies, and talk about how much we love you all =)

Today is great because thanks to Jewish holidays all the kids have off from school, and so we are chillin’ at Roger’s. Bill, Jose, Anderson, Geraldine, Genesis, Dorca, and Priscilla are all here. Genesis has already tackled me once and tried to bite me - watch out for her. (Although, I do recommend late night talks with her. They are always great and oh so encouraging).

The Washington kids are keeping up the pace. The Wydro’s have a study every Friday night which is great! Its been on the Proverbs and the boys alternate teaching.

I just finished teaching the 1 and 2 graders at Washington Bible class. They were all supposed to work on writing prayers and this is a compilation of what they came up with:

Dear God, you are:
Our Creator, Our Blessed Father, our Leader

Dear God, you:
Made the earth, “spreaded” the Red Sea, You made me. Dear God you saved us from the devil, saved us from sin, and gave us the victory.

Dear God, thank you:
For the water, the earth and the food. Thank you for your son dying on the cross for our sins, for us, my soul and for helping us.

Dear God, help us to:
Live and have water, read the whole Bible, obey and learn the Bible, follow you and go to heaven.

East Orange had a great turn out on Saturday and so that was really encouraging! I am already looking forward to the next one that they are going to have!
